Recycled Rice is a newly forming nonprofit organization with a mission to help people provide themselves with sustainable housing using rice hulls, an agricultural waste product.
We are developing building systems that are green, well insulated, and virtually fireproof. We are building with earthbags and incorporating geo-solar heating and cooling.
We are currently building a test building out of rice hulls in the shape of a tipi. Check back regularly and see our progress as our green sustainable buildings come together at HeartLand.
You can come learn with us, and you can help from right where you are.
