Fireproof Building

Every day, all over the world, buildings burn and people die — needlessly.

Rice hull buildings are virtually fireproof. They are 20% silica, which is the main ingredient of sand. Even in the air, they are very difficult to light. Compressed inside a stuccoed wall, it would take something like an airplane crashing into the building to get them burning.
